Meredith Simmons
Meredith Simmons is a recovering corporate attorney with a passion for human and veterinary health. Meredith spent nearly two decades in corporate law before returning to academic life and entered Dartmouth Geisel School of Medicine’s Dartmouth Institute public health program in 2021. An avid equestrian and lifelong animal lover, Meredith focuses her research on One Health – the intersection of human, animal, and environmental health. She is excited to help advance Ridgebury Riders’ mission and vision of increasing access to hippotherapy services.
Meredith lives in Manhattan and the Hudson Valley with her family and two dogs. When she’s not thinking about One Health and the benefits of hippotherapy, you can find her riding her horse, Pilot, or exploring the Shawangunk Mountains.
Sean Hogan

Sean T. Hogan, is a graduate of Fairfield University and received his JD from New York Law School. He is admitted to the bar in the states of New York and Connecticut. Throughout college and prior to attending law school, he worked for a leading multi-national company in the personal care and cosmetic industry. Sean’s practice focuses on estate planning, fiduciary advisement and equine law. He is a Governor of the Fairfield County Hunt Club, and is co-chair of the June Benefit Horse Show.
Ray Abramson
After studying Accounting at the University of Connecticut, Ray Abramson became a CPA has spent 45 years practicing and has worked with companies such as General Electric and Norwalk Hospital before establishing Abramson and Company LLC in 1993. He has worked to grow the firm to a mid-sized accounting and consulting practice providing services to business and individual clients. His expertise includes small business consulting, individual tax and estate planning, profit and tax projections, and entity analysis. Ray has experience sitting on the board of HealthyCT as a key member of the finance and audit committee. He has been a valuable contributor to the board at Ridgebury Farm and Stables.
Robert Zink

Originally from Grosse Pointe, Michigan, Robert graduated from Brown University in 1972 and Harvard Business School in 1977. Having worked at Salomon Brothers and Goldman Sachs for over 15 years, Robert spent the last 16 years of his career at Bridgewater Associates as the Director of Portfolio Strategy. Robert has 3 sons and numerous grandchildren all over the country, including a granddaughter who has benefitted from hippotherapy. His passion for helping the community has made him a dedicated and key part of the Ridgebury Farm and Stables team.
